Your images never leave your device

XImage processes all images 100% client-side in your browser. No image data is ever uploaded to any server. Compression, conversion, resizing, editing, and background removal all happen locally using Web Workers and the browser's built-in graphics APIs.

Data collection

• XImage itself does not collect any personal data or set its own cookies.
• No account or sign-up is required.
• No personal information is stored on our servers (we have no servers).

Advertising cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads that help fund this free service. AdSense may set cookies on your device to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. These cookies are only loaded after you accept via the cookie consent banner.

If you reject cookies, no advertising scripts are loaded and no tracking cookies are set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Analytics (Microsoft Clarity)

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, traffic sources, and general geographic region. This helps us understand how visitors use the site and which tools are most popular, so we can improve the experience.

Google Analytics uses cookies and transmits anonymized data to Google servers. No personally identifiable information is collected. For details on how Google processes this data, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Local storage and IndexedDB

XImage uses IndexedDB solely to transfer images between tools on the same device (for example, sending an image from the compressor to the editor). This data is temporary and is cleared automatically as soon as the receiving tool reads it. Nothing is persisted beyond the active session.

Third-party services

XImage is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. XImage itself does not have access to these logs.

Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to render the Inter and DM Serif Display typefaces. Google may log font requests per its Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect that. We will never introduce user tracking or data collection without a clear, prominent notice.
